The H.E.L.P.S. Community Alliance is more than a partnership—it’s a powerful movement fueled by compassion, purpose, and unity. Rooted in service and collaboration, we are a coalition of dynamic nonprofit organizations working together to uplift communities across South Carolina and Texas.

At our core, we believe that every individual deserves access to the tools, resources, and support needed to live a healthy and fulfilled life. From promoting nutritious eating and accessible healthcare to encouraging meaningful family connections, our mission is to foster thriving, resilient communities where no one is left behind. Through pop-up health fairs, educational workshops, and wellness outreach, we empower families with the knowledge and care they need to thrive—regardless of their zip code or income level. We are especially committed to health equity for underserved populations, ensuring that seniors, veterans, the homeless, and low-income families receive not only basic necessities, but dignity and hope. Our programs also extend to support children with Autism and their families, offering inclusive spaces, resources, and advocacy that promote understanding, development, and belonging. Whether it’s through food and clothing drives, community celebrations like senior proms, or hands-on support, The H.E.L.P.S. Alliance is redefining what it means to serve. Together, we are creating a legacy of healing, empowerment, love, purpose, and support—one family, one neighborhood, one community at a time. Our community events are specific and set towards the goals and passion of each faith based organization in the alliance.

Mavis L. Manigault

Mavis L. Manigault Founder of Touch Community Health & Wellness | Ambassador for the HELPS Alliance

Mavis L. Manigault is a dedicated entrepreneur and healthcare professional with a passion for serving her community through accessible, high-quality healthcare services. As the Owner/Operator/Founder of multiple businesses and non-profit organizations, she specializes in mobile phlebotomy, diagnostic testing, and wellness initiatives. With extensive clinical expertise and a commitment to excellence, Mavis empowers individuals and organizations through compassionate care and innovative health solutions.


Mavis is a highly skilled and multifaceted healthcare professional with extensive expertise in clinical training, arbitration, and occupational health services. She has dedicated her career to educating and equipping healthcare professionals with the necessary skills to excel in their fields.

With a passion for mental health awareness, Mavis also holds a Mental Health CPR Certificate, reinforcing her commitment to holistic patient care. Her dedication to education, compliance, and advocacy makes her a leader in the healthcare industry, empowering individuals and organizations to achieve excellence in patient care and workplace safety. She has been trained through DTTAC (Diabetes Training and Technical Assistance Center) as a Lifestyle Coach to facilitate Type 2 diabetes prevention education. In addition, she completed training as a Community Health Worker (CHW) through the South Carolina Community Health Worker Association.


She uses these tools to educate, communicate, and support the community—helping individuals access vital resources and guiding them toward reaching and maintaining the life goals they set throughout the process.

Haven McNeal-Lingard

Haven McNeal-Lingard Co-Founder of Touch Community Health & Wellness | Ambassador for the HELPS Alliance

Haven McNeal-Lingard is a dynamic healthcare and community leader with over 18 years of experience in healthcare operations, patient advocacy, compliance, and revenue cycle management. She is the co-founder of TOUCH Community Health & Wellness Texas & South Carolina, a grassroots initiative focused on bringing compassionate, holistic care to underserved populations, and The HELPS Alliance, a coalition of community-focused nonprofits working together to restore dignity, resources, and hope to families in crisis.

In addition to her community leadership, Haven is the visionary founder of Salus Legacy, a business solutions firm offering notary, signing agent, inspection, and compliance services; Designated Daughters & Sons (My Father’s Touch of Texas), a Texas-based non-medical in-home care agency focused on senior companionship and dignity; and VoxCare Advocates, a patient-centered initiative offering insurance navigation, provider support, and healthcare advocacy.

Her professional background includes roles as Compliance Officer, Practice Manager, Patient Advocate, Revenue Cycle Specialist, and Managed Care Representative II for top-tier healthcare organizations. Haven is known for streamlining operations, training staff, and navigating complex healthcare systems with empathy and strategic precision.
