Join The H.E.L.P.S. Alliance and TCHW for a day of community wellness, hope, and unity. The event features a “Live to Ride” fundraiser, health and vendor fair, and Safe Streets basketball exhibition—all supporting violence prevention and community connection.

THE CHARLESTON INTERRELIGIOUS COUNCIL PRESENTS

Join Muslim and Jewish students and community members for an informal exploration of cultural and religious points of contact. Enjoy tasty samples of traditional Jewish and Muslim dishes while learning about commonalities between the Jewish and Muslim dietary laws, healing foods, traditions of fasting, and much more. There will be plenty of time for Q&A, and small group discussion.

Rabbi Joseph Rosen of Kahol Kadosh Beth Elohim on Hasell Street, Imam Edward Washington of Masjid Al-Jami Ar-Rasheed on Hugo Street, and Dr. Elijah Siegler, Professor of Religious Studies and President of the Charleston Interreligious Council, will guide this important dialogue.

The Spring Fellowship Picnic offers a day for Survivors to connect with other Survivors, as well as with victim advocates and other community supports. Lunch will be served at 12:00 PM. Please bring a side dish & a drink to share if able!
